This section describes how to create, deploy and manage staging Profiles from settings input by the staging administrator. The StageNow desktop tool converts Profiles into barcodes or binary files to be consumed by the StageNow client app for configuring Zebra devices.
During the Configure phase, device Settings Types (CSPs) are selected and information for each is entered into StageNow and stored in barcodes or binary (.bin) files to be consumed by the StageNow client app on the device.
The Deployment phase is for selecting settings that do not reside in StageNow barcodes or local .bin files, but instead are stored in a file on a StageNow deployment server. This can help reduce the number of barcodes (or the size of .bin files) required for staging. However, a network connection is required during staging to connect the client device to the server and point to the deployment file. This connection and file direction MUST be set up in the Config section.
The Publish phase) allows the administrator to select the method of delivery (linear barcodes, PDF417 barcodes or NFC tags) for the completed Profile, as well as to test, publish and stage the Profile.
The staging administrator uses the provided StageNow Wizards to configure settings that define software configuration and installation for enterprise devices. NOTE: The number of settings created in this section affects the number of barcodes and/or .bin files generated to configure device(s).
NOTE: The Rapid Deployment (RD) Config section appears only if Legacy Mode is turned on in the Settings screen. Setting information entered in the RD Config section is stored within RD barcodes.
Encryption for staging data is selected by default in order to protect the sensitive data encoded in the Profile barcode or NFC tag. See StageNow Encryption for more information. De-select this checkbox if necessary to save space.
To stage devices from content stored on a server, check the "Host the Deployment Package Outside of StageNow FTP Server" and enter the server address and fully qualified file name (including path, see image above) of server-based content using the Source URI syntax. For more information and examples of this syntax, see the Source URI and Examples sections of the File Manager guide. This feature supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and FTPS (FTP over TLS or SSL) protocols and basic authentication of URL-embedded credentials (Devices with MX 4.4+ support FTP only; HTTP/HTTPS requires MX 7.0 or higher on device; FTPS requires MX 7.1 or higher).
Select Test to test the functionality of the Profile before publishing. This generates a PDF of test staging barcode(s). While this step is optional, it is important to determine whether the Profile functions as intended before making it available to the operator(s) for staging devices.Click image to enlarge; ESC to cancel.
If the staging material functions properly, select "Publish" to publish the material for operator use. Note that the administrator can choose to publish only certain types of barcodes that were successfully tested, and publish the others when they are ready.
IMPORTANT: Data contained in the .bin files for NFC or USB/SD Card staging is limited to the equivalent of two (2) barcode PDF files. If file too long" (or similar) message appears when generating the file, reduce the file size by moving settings in the "Config" section of the Profile to the "Deployment" section until the barcodes generated for the Profile requires no more than two (2) PDFs.
Navigate to the file to be imported and click "Import" button. A dialog appears to indicate that the Profile was imported successfully. Click OK.
If you need to generate a barcode for your product label, shipping label, shelf label, or any other type of label, barcode generator software makes creating accurate barcodes easy and efficient. TEKLYNX barcode generator software includes over 100 barcode symbologies, so you will be sure to find the type of barcode you need. The barcode generator wizard inside TEKLYNX software walks you through the barcode creation process, ensuring your final product is accurate.
Yes! Several 2D barcode symbologies are available in TEKLYNX barcode generator software, including QR code, Data Matrix, and Maxicode. 2D barcodes can be generated just like 1D barcodes. 2D barcodes are ideal when you need to encode a lot of data, because they can hold thousands of characters in a small space.
TEKLYNX barcode generator software can even create composite barcodes, which contain both a 1D and 2D barcode element. A common composite barcode is the GS1 DataBar Expanded barcode. This symbology, along with many other composite barcode symbologies, is available in TEKLYNX barcode generator software.
With some online barcode generators, you can only generate one barcode at a time with fixed data. Then, you have to save each barcode and import it into a printing program. Barcode generator software offers so much more than simple barcode generation.
Try TEKLYNX barcode generator software for yourself. Get a free 30-day trial of CODESOFT and start generating barcodes! If you have questions along the way, your free 30-day trial is fully supported by TEKLYNX' award-winning customer support team.
Basic and advanced visual application guidance quickly and reliably optimizes complex parameters for simple and challenging barcode reading applications. Application assistants help select the correct trigger source, defining exposure and interval settings.
For barcode verifiers, the DataMan Setup Tool software calculates an overall code grade based on several quality parameters. Detailed results show whether codes meet industry standards and auto-generated reports can be used to demonstrate compliance, as well as help pinpoint printing and process control issues.

The novel barcode labeler CyBio QuadPrint sets higher standards in high speed microplate labeling. It features a very small footprint, flexible labeling on all four sides of the microplate as well as an automatic label height adjustment.
Printer and plate storage form a unique unit that enables fully automated microtiter plate (MTP) loading, labeling and storage on a comparatively small footprint. Thanks to the re-duced required dimensions of the device, the CyBio QuadPrint can be operated on the standard laboratory bench or integrated into automation systems.
The precise labelling of the microtiter plates by the CyBio QuadPrint allows the required process stability in pharmaceutical and life science laboratories, especially in downstream applications. The accurate positioning of a easily readable label ensures the successful reading of the barcode and thus a trouble-free execution of the workflow. Special diligence is required when applying long, thin labels, such as those used for labeling microtiter plates.
The CyBio QuadPrint has a very high stacker capacity (up to 280 MTPs) and allows the processing of different microplate formats in ANSI SLAS format. The combination of excellent labeling speed, a comprehensive database with predefined microplate parameters and a wide range of label contents (barcode, text, 1D and 2D) makes the CyBio QuadPrint a flexible partner in automated high-throughput labeling.
For patients with fully correctable foot position who exhibit strong patterns of excess plantaflexion (toe walking) and/or strong hyperextension of the knee. The patient exhibits very little voluntary control of the ankle.
Current high-throughput sequencing platforms provide capacity to sequence multiple samples in parallel. Different samples are labeled by attaching a short sample specific nucleotide sequence, barcode, to each DNA molecule prior pooling them into a mix containing a number of libraries to be sequenced simultaneously. After sequencing, the samples are binned by identifying the barcode sequence within each sequence read.
In order to tolerate sequencing errors, barcodes should be sufficiently apart from each other in sequence space. An additional constraint due to both nucleotide usage and basecalling accuracy is that the proportion of different nucleotides should be in balance in each barcode position. The number of samples to be mixed in each sequencing run may vary and this introduces a problem how to select the best subset of available barcodes at sequencing core facility for each sequencing run. There are plenty of tools available for de novo barcode design, but they are not suitable for subset selection. 2ff7e9595c
